Third-Year Law Student Practice Intern
Sierra is a third-year law student at the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. Sierra is utilizing the third-year practice rule and is managing her own cases under Jeff’s supervision. She has done excellent work in court, to include winning a motion to continue the case for lack of evidence. Sierra began interning with Peoples Legal Aid in May, 2020.
Kendall worked for PLA in the year prior to her senior year at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, where she will graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Philosophy. She will enter George Washington Law School in Fall of 2021. During her time at PLA, Kendall focused on finding potential eviction clients in the court databases, reaching out with information on our services, and conducting the intake process for eligible clients. Kendall began interning for Peoples Legal Aid the summer of 2020.
Anna is a second-year law student at the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. She focuses mostly on writing and researching to enhance PLA’s representation of our clients. Anna began interning with Peoples Legal Aid in the summer of 2020.
Annie is a compassionate, hard-working, detail-oriented and well-regarded attorney. These attributes make her an ideal attorney for the complex problems associated with landlord-tenant disputes and debt collection resolution. Annie graduated with honors from the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law in May 2020 with a certificate in Criminal Law. She came to People's Legal Aid with a variety of legal experiences ranging from criminal prosecution to family law and estate distribution. The motivation that inspired Annie's legal career remains true to this day: to use knowledge to make the world a better place.
If she's not working, you can find Annie engaging in her other passions: cooking to French music, rock climbing with her middle-school sweetheart who is now her husband, hiking with her dogs, teaching yoga or advocating for a healthier planet!
